Call of Duty Warzone Memory Error 13-71 and How to Fix

The Call of Duty Warzone 13-71 error first began making its rounds last month but it seems that there has been an increase in players reporting this particular issue. The popular consensus on the Reddit boards is that this particular issue is directly rooted in Warzone’s version of Clans: Regiments. Which is dandy, but how do we actually fix it?

If you’re running into this error continuously, there is one fix that we tested and that has been making its rounds online that may be able to help! The first option will have players making a different account under a different email than what was originally registered. Following the new account registration, log into the game with the new info and head over to the multiplayer portion of the game.

Once in the menu option (the previous menu under the old email would be where the error would take place), log back into the original email account and then leave the attached Regiment. This method worked for me the first time, though our fellow writer mentioned that he ran into the error a few days later despite the above fix. That’s where another option comes into place: Accept the 13-71 memory error > Cancel being online > Go Offline > Disable cross-play > Reboot game > Keep cross-play disabled > Leave current regiment > Diable invites > Enable cross-play.

If all else fails, do what every game offers as an option: delete the game and redownload it. Currently, those are the main ways to override the Call of Duty Warzone memory error 13-71 to get back into the realm of battle royale while actually being able to get into the realm of battle royale.

So that’s how you fix the Call of Duty: Warzone memory error 13-71 until Activision gets a more permanent fix in place. In the meantime, the free-to-play battle royale game is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC with cross-play as well for those that want to play with friends regardless of platform.
