The Battle Royale game of Call of Duty: Warzone has a variety of items that players can use to help them and their teammates secure a victory. Vehicles are a type of item that players have access to in the game, with the helicopters being one of the most popular vehicles in Call of Duty: Warzone. However, players have noticed that the helicopters are not in the Battle Royale anymore. Where are the Helicopters in Call of Duty: Warzone?
Infinity Ward, the developer of the popular game, recently revealed that it had disabled the aerial vehicle in the title via an update to the Battle Royale on Tuesday, May 5th. This update removed the vehicles from the game mode and have now made them unavailable for players to get into and take to the skies to defeat their enemies and transverse the vast landscape of the Verdansk map. Now, the developer did not explicitly state why it had decided to remove the helicopters from Call of Duty: Warzone.
However, it is suspected that the reason for why the aerial vehicles were taken out of the battle royale was so Infinity ward could fix a glitch. This glitch is where players can get under the map with the vehicle and take down enemies without them having any chance of defending themselves. Unfortunately, the developer did not state when it would be adding the vehicle back into the game. This lack of a returning date means that players do not have any information regarding when they can expect to see the popular vehicle be added back into the game.
