There are a total of eight ranks in the competitive game mode that players can reach and surpass. The ranks that players can attain can be found below:

  • Iron
  • Bronze
  • Silver
  • Gold
  • Platinum
  • Diamond

Players will notice that each icon for every tier is mostly the same for each rank. However, the icons change a tad for every level you move up. These changes consist of the center going from nothing to faded to, ultimately, a silver crest at the rank’s highest tier. The only one where they are not separate icons is the highest one called Valorant, as it does not have different levels like the other seven ranks.

There has been plenty of determination by members of the community to reach the highest peaks of the title’s ranking system even though the first-person shooter is only in closed beta. This determination is fueled by players trying to get the highest tier rank icons to show off when they are playing competitive matches. Personally, the Immortal rank icons are the best in the game, as it shows a unique and sleek design that would no doubt look cool to the in-game name of any player.
