Reddit user ‘Darktryad‘ took to the forums to preview his Final Fantasy VII Midgar Fallout 4 mod with a nifty little previous video that shows all of that delicious attention to detail:

The modder also mentioned that this mod will absolutely include quests, though at this time they are more focused on making sure they nail the city’s structure as accurately as possible. He also added that the main playable area is going to be set in Sector 8, though quests added in the future will allow players to venture out into other Sectors.

Darktryad also mentioned that he’s open to other modders looking to make this Fallout 4 x Final Fantasy VII fantasy a reality when it comes to the arduous task of building Midgar from the ground up. He’s open to adding any and all features, but he’s going to need help.

Fallout 4, like Skyrim, is a hotbed of amazing mods. The stock assets that work within the scope of these franchises are plentiful and easy to work with, which has spawned quite a few amazing ventures when changing things up a bit. We also highlight a few of the biggest Fallout mod projects out there, which you can see right here.

As for the games in question, the Final Fantasy VII Remake is available now exclusively on PS4, whereas Fallout 4 is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. It’s also worth noting that this Final Fantasy VII x Fallout 4 mod is only available on PC at this time, though it is still currently a work in progress.
