Resident Evil 3 Remake: Where to Find Red, Green, and Blue Jewels

So, you’ve seen the puzzle underneath the clock in the initial portion of the Resident Evil 3 Remake, yeah? Subway, gloomy, riddled with easter eggs? And, we mean, the clock is even one of them. We’ve actually got a full list of all the Easter eggs in the Remake, so you can check that out here if you’re really curious. Underneath that clock, there’s a little puzzle which requires you to find a red, blue, and green jewel. We’ve got the lowdown on the three different places where you can pick these up, so just have a read on below.

  • If you’re after the red jewel in particular, you’re going to have to head to the Downtown Donut Shop. Making your way through into the saferoom will allow you to pick this one up; it’s in a pretty visible purple box and will show up once you interact with a latch inside. If you put the jewel into the puzzle, you will get a shotgun stock.
  • If you’re after the blue jewel in particular, you will need to go to the supermarket which has a distinctive crimson coloring. You’ll want to be able to snip the chain which keeps the supermarket shut, which you won’t get til you’ve reached the milestone of the repair shop in the game. If you’ve already found the red jewel, the blue one is in a box of the same type and you’ll get an Inventory Pouch for turning it in.
  • If you’re after the green jewel in particular, you’re going to want to head directly across the way from the supermarket to the toy shop which has a locked door. When you’ve cracked the lock on the toy shop, you’ll easily find the green jewel basically sitting on a countertop for the taking. Turning it in underneath the clock will give you a grenade.

Now that you’ve got our guide on where to find the red, green, and blue jewels in the Resident Evil 3 Remake, it should be a tiny bit easier for you to get everything sorted out. While all solving the puzzle really does it give you a little bit more firepower, we reckon it’s something that’s useful enough when you’re having to face down the ravenous hordes.
