It was more or less confirmed by Eurogamer today, that Blue Castle are developing a sequel to their mall-based zombie death machine Dead Rising.
There have been rumors for a while now, but nothing has been confirmed. A source close to Canadian studio Blue Castle has begun development.
Rumors were being circulated that the team were working on a sequel, but still, haven’t yet been confirmed. Eurogamer report however, that they’ve got a snoop working on the game who’s given his word it’s underway.
It was said by the source: “Everyone’s really excited; the team has obviously seen the rumors and it’s been hard to keep quiet, but they can’t wait to show off the game.”
There was nothing on the content, the name, or when it’ll be released.
Blue Castle, developer of The Bigs and MLB Front Office Manager, sells itself as “a full-service, multi-project and multi-platform 3rd party developer located in Vancouver, Canada”, in which: “We are well underway on three new projects – an unannounced Action title and two Sports titles one of which was just announced.”
An advert on the Blue Castle site reads “It’s getting around – there is something amazing being built here at Blue Castle behind locked doors.”
Capcom Europe refused to make a comment.
