Animal Crossing New Horizons Tool Ring

If you’re not sure what the Animal Crossing: New Horizons tool ring does, well, we’re going to educate you. Ever get annoyed that the only way to get from one tool to the next is to manually cycle through all of them in your inventory by pressing the right or left directional keys because it honestly just seems like the biggest waste of time? Well, you’re definitely not alone. However, you might be pleased to know that there’s a way to circumvent this and all you’re going to need is some Nook Miles. Enter: the tool ring.

In order to get the Animal Crossing New Horizons tool ring, you’re going to need to have 800 Nook Miles as well as the ability to redeem Nook Miles at your Nook Stop for other stuff that you’re going to need while kicking around your island. Basically once you’ve racked enough Nook Miles and you have that ability to redeem Miles, you want to head right for the Nook Stop and make sure that you select the “Redeem Nook Miles” option. From there, you’ll be the given to redeem your Miles for things like hairstyles, hair colors, the tool ring, and even an increase to your inventory size.

Once you buy the Animal Crossing New Horizons tool ring, you’re going to be able to use the d-pad on your Switch to bring up a radial wheel of all the items that you want to use frequently. You can assign specific items to be your favorites, and those will then show up on the radial wheel so it’s just a matter of navigating to the d-pad and then selecting the item that you want quick snap. Much faster than cycling through every item, honestly. If you’re still needing to flesh out your collection of items, though, why not check out our guide on how to get an axe?
