As we draw ever closer to the Isle of Armor DLC that’s meant to be dropping for Pokemon Sword and Shield very soon (as soon as June 2020), we’re starting to feel the heat a little when it comes to the state of our individual teams. Sure, we love throwing them up against Max Raids as much as the next person, but it’s also a good time to pick up some Pokemon that we may have missed on our path to Champion. Why not use the downtime to complete your Pokedex? Check out our Gossifleur Pokemon Sword and Shield location guide to find this flower.

Gossifleur Pokemon Sword and Shield Location Guide

This beautiful little bouquet of flowers has our heart, and we do so love some Grass Pokemon here at Team Prima (Grookey, anyone?). Gossifleur’s Pokedex entry notes that the Pokemon will “whirl around in the wind while singing a joyous song. This delightful display has charmed many into raising this Pokemon.” Well, we would definitely consider ourselves charmed by such a display. Gossifleur also evolves into Eldegoss at Level 20 without a whole lot of pomp or circumstance, which is a bit of a refreshing change from the Alcremies of the world that we’ve had to do elaborate routines for.

Now, if you fancy yourself a collector and you reckon that you want to add a Gossifleur to your team, then there’s only a handful of places that you can actually go to get one. They’re fairly plentiful anyway in terms of roaming in the wild, especially compared to the spawn rates of other Pokemon like Morpeko, so you really just have to keep your eye out for this little floating bulb as you gallivant around the following locations:

  • Route 2
  • Route 3
  • Motostoke Riverbank

There are no specific weather conditions that you have to observe to have Gossifleur show up for you, so it doesn’t matter if it’s rain or shine when you pop by one of those three particular locations. We would note that they spawn at a lower level threshold on Route 2 and Route 3, which might seem obvious, but we figured it’d be good to have that information in hand anyway. The ones that you find on the Riverbank will be averaging around Level 40 so bring the appropriate Fire Type weapons to that fight if you’re waiting til later in the game to get your hands on one.

Now that you have our Gossifleur Pokemon Sword and Shield location guide in hand, it should be easier for you to find one of these beautiful little floral arrangements for yourself. Just keep them well away from any fire-breathing starters and everything should be alright. Need a hand with anything else as you navigate the Galar region?
