With Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and The Outer Worlds still being the talk of the town in terms of gaming, there is still one more month to go before we ring in the new year. A new month means new game releases and for those looking to get their gaming on, or just looking for a solid gift idea, here’s what you need to know about every game releasing in December 2019.

- Hearthstone: Descent of Dragons – December 10
- MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries for PC – December 10
- Narcos: Rise of the Cartels for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC – December 10
If you liked the hit Netflix TV series Narcos, the Rise of the Cartels game is perfect for you! It takes the narrative television fans fell in love with and takes it even further with this interactive experience. Halo: Reach is also a phenomenal launch, a beloved Halo entry that players can enjoy on Steam for the first time as well on this generation of Xbox through the Master Chief Collection!
As a huge RPG fan, Neverwinter Nights is one that’s an old favorite for me personally, so getting to play it once more with the enhanced version on the go with the Switch is a launch I would be wrong for not including, though I think Arise: A Simple Story is the one that I’m most excited for because it’s an indie title that isn’t afraid to explore the ups and downs in life in an artistic way, but also in a way that feels guttural and beautiful all at the same time.
