The Nintendo Switch library continues to grow impressively and future releases could include more of our 3DS favorites! According to a recent tweet from famed Wall Street tech reporter Takashi Mochizuki, Nintendo President Shuntaro Furukawa mentioned that the company was looking to take even more 3DS-only franchises and take them over to the Nintendo Switch.

“The result is encouraging for Pokemon games coming next month. Nintendo chief Furukawa said company would make more 3DS franchises available on Switch to convey appeal of Lite,” Mochizuki mentioned in the below tweet.

There are so many incredible 3DS adventures that the handheld has to offer and the Nintendo Switch itself has proven to be a wild success that is showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon. From Nintendo classics to incredibly surprising third-party entries such as Skyrim, DOOM, Wolfenstein, The Witcher, and more, it’s a very good time to be a fan of the Big N.

On top of that, the recent release of the Switch Lite makes this goal even more sensical. The Switch Lite is slightly smaller and more compact and is purely handheld, meaning it’s pretty much a bigger and more effecient version of the 3DS minus the 3D capability. To have more Tensei games, more Pokemon – that would be a huge win for the Nintendo community and the company itself.
