In an interesting move from their usual line of work, Capcom have decided to make a foray into the world of selling motorbikes.
The Japanese games publisher has teamed up with film production company Hollywood Inc. to create a Resident Evil themed chopper.
The bike will feature an Ithica M37 shotgun, plus armor-plated front and rear tires, dual .50 Magnums, herb vials, health spray, knife sheath, grenade launcher, STARS logo and zombie spikes.
“This isn’t some crazy corporate bike being built for display instead of riding. Instead, this is an awesome piece of Resident Evil merchandise that you can fire up and take out on the open road,” reported Chris “Kramerz” Kramer on the Capcom blog.
A workshop known as Savage Cycles will create an “extraordinarily limited” amount of bikes that will be available for purchase. We’re not sure how much these’ll cost but I’ll hazard a guess that they won’t be a budget line. Apparently the first batch are available in January.
There are concept sketches and work-in-progress pics over at the Capcom blog.
