Apex Legends: How to Get Level 3 Armor with Lifeline’s Care Package

One community member has discovered a way to increase your chances of getting level 3 armor from the care package of Lifeline.
This article is over 5 years old and may contain outdated information

The popular battle royale title of Apex Legends has a roster filled with a diverse group of characters players can use in battle. One of these characters is Lifeline, and she brings a great deal of value to an Apex Legends team with her support abilities. One of the most potent skills Lifeline has at her disposal is her care package ultimate where she can call in a loot-filled delivery for herself and her teammates. While it has been generally though the contents of Lifeline’s care package are entirely random, one Apex Legends community member has discovered one method which dramatically increases your chance of getting level 3 armor from the care package ultimate of Lifeline.

According to a post by Ringo308 on the battle royale game’s official subreddit, the positioning of the three doors of the Lifeline care package is fixed depending on the location where the players call in the ultimate. This fact means Door 1, which usually contains weapon attachments, a backpack, or a knockdown shield, will be in front of where Lifeline called in her ultimate. Door 2 will then be on the left, and Door 3 will be on the right. The third door is where players will have the best chance of acquiring a piece of level 3 armor for use in battle.

With this in mind, players looking for that piece of level 3 armor will be wise to be the first member of their team to loot Door 3 on the Apex Legends care package of Lifeline.

However, knowing Door 1 has the best chance of dropping weapon attachments, backpacks, or knockdown shields and Door 2 has the best chance of dropping first aid and shield items can also help in making sure you receive whatever you most need at the particular moment.

Knowing which door of Lifeline’s care package has the best chance of dropping a particular piece of loot will help you and your Apex Legends teammates efficiently coordinate your needs.
