A large part of becoming more powerful in Bloodstained is in the robust crafting system. Thanks to the game’s focus on alchemy in its story, we get to experiment with this ancient and mythical science. The part of alchemy that involves breaking things down in Bloodstained requires a material called Alkahest. So, you need to know how to get Alkahest in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night or you’re going to struggle with that aspect of it.
Why do you want to break things down? Simple, because it’s a great way to turn useless items into far more useful components. The more materials you have, the more things you can make. Given that you can come across a plethora of weapons as you fight your way through the game, it’s usually better to melt them down than to sell them. With that in mind, here is how to get Alkahest in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.
How To Get Alkahest In Bloodstained: Ritual Of The Night
As you’re going to want to do this a lot, you’re going to need a way of getting lots of Alkahest. The trouble is, figuring out how to get each individual item in Bloodstained can be tricky. Well, Alkahest is one of the many items that Dominque sells, who can be found a couple of rooms left of Johannes, which is where you would be using Alkahest anyway.
If you prefer to spend hours killing things instead of participating in capitalism, then you can go off and start slaughtering things. The two main creatures to take out for Alkahest are the Poltergeist, which are the paintings that come to life, and the Ghosts, the small blue floaty things. Both of these have a chance to drop Alkahest. As with any item, this chance gets better the higher your luck stat, so keep that in mind.
