Resident Evil 5 is coming to Xbox Live on 26th January, Capcom has said.
The sampler will consist of two levels-Assembly Place and Shanty Town, and will be playable in single or multiplayer modes. Both the online two-player co-op (complete with voice chat), and the split screen modes will be playable.
The press-release says there will be “hordes of bloodthirsty infected Majini enemies”, mongst these being the Chainsaw Majini and Majini Executioner, together with “a few puzzles to round out the action”.
The demo will feature the choice to switch between two control styles, the first is the classic Resident Evil while the second allows players to “switch to the newer “Action” controls inspired by games like Gears of War 2 and Halo 3″.
Capcom will also be unveiling a new trailer for Live users to download, this’ll be lovely and hi-def and at the current time at least, much like the demo, it appears to be exclusive to the Xbox 360.
Resident Evil 5 will be coming out on the PS3 and Xbox 360 on 13th March, do keep checking back here to find out loads more hot, juicy game gossip as we get it.
