Overwatch players headed to Havana during the recent Storm Rising event in the Blizzard shooter. Now all can enjoy the latest escort map, because Havana is live for all outside of the event and outside of the game’s Public Test Realm.

According to Blizzard, “Havana is a new Escort map set in the region where one of the infamous members of Talon’s council, Maximilien, operated. For a time, this shadowy organization plagued the local populace with their corruption and crime. Eventually, an Overwatch Strike team was deployed to extract Maximilien with the purpose of gaining intel on a mysterious Talon counterpart, Doomfist.”

We were able to see it first hand during Storm Rising, but the latest map was a huge hit – one that many couldn’t wait to see bleed out into the regular game. Now all can enjoy the latest area, including the stunning beachside, because the latest map is now available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.

As for the game itself, this is only just the start. Blizzard has mentioned that they have several new heroes joining the game in addition to more animated shorts, more free comics, and so much more! We’re excited to see how the studio continues to expand on this world filled with Talon and do-gooders, which makes us also curious as to see what others want to see?
