“Cleanliness is next to Godliness,” as the old saying goes, and learning how to take a bath in Red Dead Redemption 2 won’t be that difficult. In fact, taking a bath is as simple as heading to the nearest town and making your way into the hotel there. Having trouble finding yourself a hotel? Make sure you know how to fast travel to make your life easier. Once at the hotel you can talk to the owner and review the current services that they’ve got open and available.

At the start you’ll be able to find rooms for as low as $1 and baths for as low as $0.25. Of course, these prices are subject to change as you dive deeper into the game and explore more of the large, open world that Rockstar has created. Making sure you can afford yourself a nice bath is something you’ll want to do as you continue your journey through the west.

After you’ve paid for your bath, take a look at your mini-map and you should see an icon resembling a bathtub on it. Head to the room that is marked with this icon and you should have the chance to bathe yourself, or if you’d like, you can pay an extra bit of money to have someone come in and do all of the hard work for you. If you choose to have someone else bathe you, then you can talk to them if you’d like, and instruct them on how you want them to clean you up.
