Darksiders 3 Post-Launch DLC Plans Revealed

Fans see the return of The Crucible and Serpent Holes in the upcoming DLC for Darksiders 3.

As we draw closer to the release of Darksiders 3, new details have begun to emerge about the game’s many features. Today, THQ Nordic and Gunfire Games revealed two upcoming sets of DLC that fans can look forward to after the game launches on November 27. The post-launch DLC will contain new playable areas that feature challenging puzzles, enemies, and items for players to enjoy.

The first set of DLC is The Crucible, which should sound familiar to those who have played the previous installment of the series, Darksiders 2. In the Crucible, Fury must battle waves of enemies to compete for a chance to earn special rewards and items.

The other DLC that was announced today is the Keepers of the Void DLC, which features a quest involving everyone’s favorite demon merchant, Vulgrim. In this DLC, Fury must travel through the Serpent Holes to get rid of an ancient threat that lurks inside them. “The Serpent Holes are riddled with new puzzles and enemies eager to test Fury’s abilities,” says today’s announcement. “If Fury prevails, she will unlock all new weapon from the Hollows, as well as the biggest prize of them all: The Abyssal Armor.”

While we know that this content will arrive sometime after the release of Darksiders 3, what we don’t know is the exact release dates for each set of DLC. No pricing has been mentioned for the upcoming content, either. Darksiders 3 is scheduled to release on November 27, 2018 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Windows PC.
