The DLC features seven zombie-filled maps, each containing an assortment of recognizable characters and movie references.

The brief teaser trailer for Dead Living Zombies also contains several references to various Ubisoft titles, including Rainbow Six: Siege and Far Cry: Blood Dragon. You can spot the references for yourself in the video below.

After completing each of the seven maps in Dead Living Zombies, players can unlock Score Attack to earn three-star ratings, which grant access to new weapons and gear. Also, additional tools for Far Cry Arcade will be added alongside the DLC as part of Title Update 10, which is available to all Far Cry 5 players.

Far Cry 5: Dead Living Zombies will be available on August 28 for $7.99. Players can obtain the DLC as add-on content or as part of the season pass.
