This article is over 6 years old and may contain outdated information

In Waiting for Hank, players must talk to Amanda and then explore the Detroit PD while they wait for Hank. There’s a lot to accomplish here, so make sure you’re ready to go. This particular chapter has two endings that you can obtain, though one of them is dependent on the outcome of another chapter. Now, let’s dive in and show you how to 100% Waiting for Hank.

Waiting for Hank – 100% Completion

There are a few things you can do in the first part of this chapter. First, to accomplish one of these things, you’ll need to have had Connor die at least once. This can be accomplished in almost every chapter of his up to this point, including The Interrogation. If you’ve had Connor die at least once, then you can Check the Graves on the path, up to the right from where you start. This will trigger a nice little scene, and then you can continue on.

You can also look around for a magical looking stone with a handprint on it. This stone doesn’t have much meaning right now, but it will in later chapters. Finding and interacting with it will trigger this marker on your Flowchart. Everything else in this portion of the chapter can be found on your own. Just talk to Amanda and then once you’re finished, you’ll arrive at the Police Station.

Arrive at Police Station

Once you arrive at the station, look around and explore. There are a couple of magazine articles you can read here. If you kept Carl alive in Broken, then you can Read Famous Painter Dies and Read Ivanoff Says ‘Niet’!. If Carl lived, then you’ll find Robotic Parentings in place of Famous Painter Dies.

You’ll also want to look around and learn more about Hank by investigating his desk. Just pay attention to the area, and make sure you go into the office with Hank when he enters it, as this will trigger more markers on your flowchart.

Waiting for Hank – All Endings

Finally, you’ll want to know how to get both endings of Waiting for Hank. The tricky part with these endings, though, is that you will need to complete the chapter Stormy Night beforehand, as you’ll need to unlock a specific ending there to trigger the second ending for this chapter.

Hank Got a Lead

If you kept Kara and Alice alive in Stormy Night, then the end of this chapter will end with Hank getting a lead. This will propel you to the next chapter of the story, which sees Connor and Hank go after the deviant Android and her newly freed companion.

Hank Left to Get Lunch

If you allowed Kara and Alice to die in Stormy Night, the chapter will end with Hank heading off to get himself some lunch. This ending can only be obtained by letting Kara and Alice die in Stormy Night, so make sure you go back and replay that chapter to unlock it.
