Resident Evil Requiem Complete Walkthrough – Grace Ashcroft Care Center

Shortly after Leon chases and loses track of Victor in Resident Evil Requiem, you’ll switch back to Grace locked up in the Care Center. This is one of the scariest parts of the game, and here’s a complete walkthrough to get you through the Care Center in Resident Evil Requiem.

The chapter starts with a cutscene of Grace escaping and starting in Room 203. There’s a progress note on the counter, which shows what was done while you were out and restrained.

Head out the door and through the hallway. You can go straight inside the Prep Room and pick up an empty bottle, but you’ll have to go back to the main hallway and through the red light since it is still too dark in the Prep Room.

Head to the end of the hallway, to the left of the horse statue, and you’ll see a fuse box, a locked gate, and a desk at the end of the hallway. Go to the desk and open the drawer to get the Cherub Key.

Go back and use the Cherub Key to open the locked door (Room 201) in the hallway. While inside Room 201, head to the back and open the closet to get the Lighter. You’ll also notice a locked fuse box here, which should open the gate by the end of the hallway.

Use the Lighter to go to the next room (Room 202). The room is dark, so use your Lighter as you move around the room. On the desk, there’s a short book by Harriett Jones called “Shadow Ghost.” The book warns you about a Shadow Ghost roaming around, always watching you, and tells you to stay in the light. Head to the back of the room and open the closet door. There’s a note by the cardboard box saying that the Screwdriver was placed by the Nurse’s Station.

Go back to the Prep Room (Nurse’s Station) and use your Lighter to navigate around. When you reach the first door leading to the Nurse’s Room, you’ll be met with a chilling cutscene. After the cutscene, the Shadow Ghost will chase you. Run back to Room 203, which is the nearest light source.

Wait for the Shadow Ghost to try to enter and is burned by the light. It will hide again after this. Go back to the Prep Room and head to the door. There’s a Med Injector on the floor near the desk and just in front of the door (where the cutscene took place).

Go through the station and look for the cart next to the locker. Push the cart away to make a noise and attract the Shadow Ghost.

Go back to the door and hug the corner, as seen in the image above. The Shadow Ghost won’t notice you here and wait for her to go deeper inside the Nurse’s Station. When you have a clear chance to run, go back and head to Room 203. She’ll start hiding again after she does her tantrums in the Nurse’s Station, which should take a while if you were able to escape quickly without getting noticed.

When she’s gone, go back to the Nurse’s Station. Open the locker and get a Green Herb. Jump on top of the cart by interacting with it from the side. Look up to the shelf next to you and interact with the toolbox. Open it and get the Screwdriver.

Run back to the hallway and go to Room 201. As you go through the main hallway, the Shadow Ghost will blast through the locked door from the Nurse’s Station, which will open up a shortcut to be used later on.

Run back to Room 203 and wait until she hides again. Go back to the hallway again. The Shadow Ghost should now patrol between Room 201 and the intersection of Room 203 and the Prep Room.

Use the newly opened door in the Nurse’s Station and hide there. Wait for her to pass you, then run to Room 201. You can use the typewriter to save here. Once you reach the middle of the room and head to the back to use the Screwdriver to open the fuse box, the light will turn off. Keep going and get the Fuse from the fuse box.

After taking the Fuse, a cutscene will trigger, and the Shadow Ghost starts appearing from the hole in the ceiling. Run as fast as you can to the gated door and interact with the fuse. You don’t have to manually place the fuse and press the button since interacting with the fuse box triggers a cutscene, which ends this part of the Care Center.
