The Best Way to Make Money Fast in Starsand Island
Business is business.
Starsand Island’s farming system is unique, offering greater freedom than you can find elsewhere. Because of this, money is easier to make than you would think.
Here are some of the best money-making strategies to follow to make sure you can buy everything you need and focus on other things, like base designing and exploration in Starsand Island.
The Best Money-Making Strategy in Starsand Island
Starsand Island has a lot of ways to make money. There are animal byproducts, ores, minerals, jewelry, food, foraging, fish, and everything in between. However, the best strategy is to focus on utilizing your stamina as much as possible, especially early in the game.
As long as you are using your stamina throughout, count it as a very efficient day. Then again, you don’t have to worry about being as efficient as possible – it is a cozy and relaxing game after all.
Ores, ores, and more ores

One of the most efficient ways to make money is to dump most of your remaining stamina mining ores in the Moonlit Forest. Grab your best hatchet and start gathering the best available ore you have available.
Use these ores and process them in the furnace, which will need a lot of Charcoal as well. That means you’ll also want to stock up on a lot of Wood to keep the furnaces going. Once you have smelted the ores, you can immediately sell them for a lot of money. You can still process these smelted bars into something else, but that will take too much time.
Farming Strategy

Your main priority for your stamina when trying to make money should always go to farming. Your farm is pretty big, and you can grow so many crops at once, assuming you have enough seeds to plant, since the shop only has a limited supply each day.
Keep buying all the seeds in the shop and pay attention to what you need to grow them. Some need the Trellis, farmland, paddy fields, or a planting box, and you actually want all of them available in your farm.
Maximize your space, and if you want to decorate your farm, you should try to account for space by having all of these requirements available for planting any crop.
As for the farming grid, it really doesn’t matter apart from trying to get Gmax harvest, which can be a good or a bad thing. Gmax harvests require 3×3 farm plots to have a chance of growing them. It is completely random, but if it triggers, you get a little more, but you’ll have to till the soil again when it happens. If you are lazy like me, I keep some of my farming plots at least 2 plots wide or long, so I can never get a Gmax to trigger and save my stamina.
Eventually, you’ll need to get some Gmax if you are progressing through your farming mentorship with Graminova, which you should always do. Since you want to unlock the best seeds available, you must progress through your mentorship until you get the Expert Farmer certification.
Others

While we have already covered the two best or main ways to make money, everything else should be a bonus. Growing your ranch and selling animal byproducts can also be profitable, but requires a lot of work; it is still best to have them available.
They are a big money sink, especially during the start when you start buying all the blueprints and maintaining their feed.
However, it is still profitable, especially when you use some of the byproducts as sources for cooking great food and selling them. They’re also great for completing your Islandpedia, which grants rewards when achieving certain milestones.
Fishing and foraging are some of the other ways to make money, which are very time-consuming. Do them on your own time, but if you want to focus on making money, focus on farming and mining.
