Managing your stamina is one of the hardest things to do in Starsand Island. It is never enough, but you have to make do with what you have.

However, the game also doesn’t tell you about ways to recover your stamina, and there’s one mechanic that is often overlooked when playing. Here’s a quick guide on how to replenish your stamina in Starsand Island.

How to Recover Stamina in Starsand Island

As you learn more activities like farming and animal husbandry, you’ll start to feel that your stamina bar is never enough. That’s because there are two main ways to recover stamina: resting at the Hot Springs and eating food.

Eating food is kind of obvious, especially as you keep getting berries everywhere. However, the Hot Springs isn’t really taught, and it is one of the most efficient ways to get more stamina early in your playthrough.

First, you must buy some Hot Spring Tickets from the General Store or the vending machines around Starsand Island. Each Hot Spring Ticket costs 100 Gold, but random discounts also appear from time to time.

Once you have the Hot Spring Ticket in your backpack, you can now use the Hot Springs.

The Hot Springs are located in Maple Reed. There are multiple spots, and you can interact with any of them to rest up.

Once you find a hot spring, interact with it, and it should automatically use up one Hot Spring Ticket, and you’ll start resting. You will recover around 2-3 stamina per in-game minute, and it can take quite a long time to fill your stamina bar from 0.

There’s still enough time to do a lot more activities, but it’ll be hard to rest in the hot springs twice in a day, since there might not be enough time, depending on how fast you go through the day.

Once you get more resources, and gold isn’t even a problem anymore, you’ll start looking into just eating food for a quick way to recover stamina. In most situations, you want to cook food and value time more than efficiency. It’ll just depend on what you have available for cooking or eating.
