How to Get Iron Ores in Starsand Island
Shinier ores = more money.
Iron Ores unlock the 2nd tier of tools and equipment, among other things, in Starsand Island. You’ll need a lot of these, especially when upgrading.
Here’s a short guide on where to find these Iron Ores in Starsand Island, and you’ll surely double back a plenty to get a decent amount of these for your island needs.
Where to Get Iron Ores in Starsand Island

Iron Ores look fairly similar to the previous Tin Ores in the Moonlit Forest. However, Iron Ores appear as a darker gray, which is noticeable when you get used to them.
To get Iron Ores, you’ll need to reach the Dreamfall Garden, and you’ll start seeing them scattered around.

To reach the Dreamfall Garden, you’ll need to progress to the fourth area of Moonlit Forest, which will ultimately require you to get a Slingshot with a few Small Pellets and shoot down a broken wall to open the next area.
Once you finish that, you’ll get access to the Dreamfall Garden, where you will see more minerals and, more importantly, Iron Ores. Refer to the map above to find the very first area where you’ll find these Iron Ores. You can progress further and find more as well, but since they respawn every day, you can make do with what’s in Dreamfall Garden for your Iron Ore needs.
At this point, there are several ores already available for you to farm. You should focus on replenishing your stamina so you can be as efficient as possible when going to the Moonlit Forest.
How to Get Iron Ingots in Starsand Island

To get Iron Ingots in Starsand Island, you must unlock Furnace II, which requires you to at least progress with Zerina until you unlock the Workshop II and Furnace II blueprints. You’ll just need to get some Starsand Points, finish the crafting quests from Zerina, and unlock the next tier blueprints from her shop.
Once the Furnace II is unlocked, you can either craft one from the Workbench or go to an existing Furnace I, interact with it, and select the “Upgrade” button next to its name. The Furnace II should unlock things like Iron Ingots, Gold Ingots, Magnets, Alloys, and more.
Since you might need some of the more basic Ingots as well, you should build multiple Furnaces to save some production time.
