Today, Ubisoft unveiled their post-launch content plan for Far Cry 5, which includes three different DLC campaigns that take players to Vietnam and Mars. The DLC content will be available to players who purchase the Far Cry 5 Gold Edition Season Pass. Ubisoft will also release free content with Far Cry Arcade and Live Events, which will be accessible for all Far Cry 5 players.

Players to buy the Far Cry 5 Gold Edition Season Pass will gain access to three sets of DLC. The first is the Hours of Darkness DLC, which takes players back to Vietnam to fight Việt Cộng soldiers during the war.

The second set of DLC, aptly titled Dead Living Zombies, is basically a zombie horde mode where players fend off waves of undead throughout multiple scenarios and environments.

Lastly, there’s the Lost on Mars DLC, which takes players to the red planet to battle martian arachnids and attempt to defend Earth against an alien invasion.

Along with the three DLC campaigns, Far Cry 5 Season Pass owners on console will also receive Far Cry 3 Classic Edition, which will release four weeks before launching as a standalone game in 2018. PC players will get the full version of Far Cry 3 sometime later after Far Cry 5’s launch in March.

If you weren’t planning to pick up the Far Cry 5 Season Pass, don’t worry. There’s still some free post-launch content to look forward to as well. Ubisoft announced that all Far Cry 5 players will gain access to Far Cry Arcade, an upgraded map editor that will include assets from previous Far Cry and Ubisoft titles, such as Assassin’s Creed Unity and Watch Dogs. Players with a creative side can construct their own custom co-op and PvP maps to enjoy with friends in Far Cry 5.

Far Cry 5 Mars DLC

Additionally, Far Cry 5 will feature Live Events that offer in-game rewards for those who complete the various in-game challenges. Rewards include cosmetic customizations such as vehicle and weapon skins for Far Cry 5.

Far Cry 5 is scheduled to launch on March 27, 2018. Watch the Far Cry 5 post launch trailer above for a preview of the upcoming DLC campaigns. Also, check out the Far Cry 5 Guns for Hire character spotlights to see which NPC you want fighting by your side in Far Cry 5.
