Mushrooms can get a bit complicated to set up, and here’s everything you need to know about making Mushrooms and selling them in Schedule 1.

How to Grow Mushrooms in Schedule 1

Requirements for Growing Mushrooms

To start growing Mushrooms, you still have a long grocery list of things to buy to create your setup. Here is everything you need to prepare to start growing Mushrooms:

  • Hardware Store
    • Spray Bottle
    • AC Unit
    • Trimmers
  • Oscar
    • Mushroom Spawn Station
    • Mushroom Box
  • Fungal Phil
    • Grain Bags
    • Spore Syringes
    • Mushroom Substrate

If you are low on funds, start with everything in Oscar’s shop, specifically the Mushroom Spawn Station and Mushroom Box. Then you can buy a spray bottle and an AC unit and use your old Trimmers.

When ordering from Fungal Phil, you want all three items to be equal. If you buy a Grain Bag, make sure you also buy 1x Spore Syringe and 1x Mushroom Substrate with each one bought.

Mushroom Growing Setup

To set up your Shrooms maker, place the Mushroom Spawn Station and the Mushroom Box, preferably near each other.

Interact with the Mushroom Spawn Station and place the Grain Bag and Spore Syringe to begin the process. You start by removing the cap of the Spore Syringe and injecting it into the Grain Bag through the black square. Remember to tilt the syringe by pressing the “A” and “D” buttons.

Push the plunger, and you’ll get a Shroom Spawn. Go to the Mushroom Box and apply Mushroom Substrate to it. It’s like filling the box with soil. Place the Shroom Spawn in the Mushroom Box with the Mushroom Substrate. Break the Shroom Spawn into 16 chunks, then place them under the substrate.

Fill up your Spray Bottle with water using the tap. Spray the Mushroom Box with water. Each full duration of a water spray increases the Mushroom’s growth by 56%, so you’ll need to spray it twice to completely grow the Mushroom.

To automate the Mushroom production, you’ll want to hire Botanists to handle the Mushroom Spawn Station and Mushroom Beds.

Fungal Phil’s Stash Location

To pay off your debts to Fungal Phil, go to the south of Oscar’s Warehouse. Go near the sewer area, and you should see the stash box near a wall.

Deposit enough cash, and that should settle the debt automatically. You can even put a surplus of cash inside, and it won’t disappear.
