All Artifact Codes for Risk of Rain 2 (2025)
Gotta unlock 'em all!
Risk of Rain 2 exited early access in 2020, and since then, three major expansions have added new survivors, stages, bosses, and artifacts. Artifacts are gameplay modifiers you select before a run and can stack to make runs easier, harder, or just more fun.
There are 20 artifacts you can unlock and enable, and here is the complete list of all Risk of Rain 2 artifact codes, including those added in the Alloyed Collective update.

That’s 19 codes and I’ve explained how to unlock the secret artifact which doesn’t have a specific code at the bottom.
How To Enter Artifact Codes
Here is how you can enter artifact codes in Risk of Rain 2:
- On a regular run, make your way through the teleporter progression to stage 5, which will be either Sky Meadow or the Helminth Hatchery.
- Locate the Compound Generator, a large structure with a laptop connected to a device featuring nine nodes arranged in a 3×3 grid that you can cycle through square, circle, diamond, and triangle by interacting with individual switches.
- Enter the code into the grid and then interact with the laptop. As an example, here is how the grid looks after you’ve input the code for Artifact of Prestige.
- Once you’ve entered the correct code, a red portal will appear, which will take you to Bulwark’s Embry.
- Here, you’ll use Artifact keys dropped by defeating the enemies/bosses in the area (one by one, don’t stack them) against the Artifact Reliquary boss. Don’t bother trying to attack it with your regular attacks; only the keys work on it.
- After beating the Artifact Reliquary, you’ll be able to grab the Artifact and start the loop all over again.
If you want to unlock all artifacts, you’ll have to do this process for each, so 19 times.
Unlock Artifact of Rebirth
The Artifact of Rebirth doesn’t have a unique code, and instead, you’ll need to follow the steps below to unlock it:
- Defeat the False Son boss introduced in the Seekers of the Storm expansion.
- Interact with the Shrine of Rebirth (which is basically a monolith that appears after you beat him).
- Offer an item here, which will end the run, but you’ll unlock the Artifact of Rebirth.
Basically, whatever item you offer will be given to you at the start of your next run if you have the Artifact of Rebirth active. If you don’t offer a specific item, then you’ll receive a random item in the next run instead.
For now, that brings the total to 20 artifacts in Risk of Rain 2. If there are more artifacts added, whether through a major update or expansion, I will add them to this guide.
