I guess they're kinda neat.

Like the previous expansions, Alloyed Collective introduces several new skins for several survivors in Risk of Rain 2. Each skin is themed according to the new expansion, but is only available for the base characters.

As always, unlocking them is not a straightforward process. Here is how you can unlock each skin introduced in Risk of Rain 2: Alloyed Collective and what they look like.

Unlock the Alloyed Collective Skins in Risk of Rain 2

To unlock the Alloyed Collective skins for the base survivors in Risk of Rain 2, you need to reach and beat the true final boss, Solus Heart, with the survivor you want the new skin for. After defeating him, you can either accept his offering or reject it by shooting at it, depending on the survivor you are currently playing.

Here are the correct responses for each survivor to earn the skin:

SurvivorInteraction with Solus Heart for Skin
CommandoReject the offering of the collective.
HuntressReject the offering of the collective.
BanditAccept the offering of the collective.
MUL-TReject the offering of the collective.
EngineerReject the offering of the collective.
ArtificerAccept the offering of the collective.
REXAccept the offering of the collective.
MercenaryReject the offering of the collective.
LoaderAccept the offering of the collective.
AcridReject the offering of the collective.
CaptainAccept the offering of the collective.
  • For both Operator and Drifter (the new survivors), you need to beat the game or obliberate on Monsoon to unlock their mastery skins.
  • Unfortunately, Railgunner, Void Fiend, Seeker, False Son, and Chef did not receive any new skins in the Alloyed Collective expansion.

Commando, Huntress, and Bandit

MUL-T, Artificer and Mercenary

REX, Loader, and Acrid

Captain and Engineer

Operator and Drifter

I really wish there were new skins for the DLC survivors as well, but the skins in this aren’t that bad. I especially like Commando’s skin, but the wireframe skins aren’t really my cup of tea.
