After finishing off Solus Wing, you’ll receive the Encrypted Cerebellum item. This is used in combination with a few possible items to create a necessary item required to access the Hidden Realm: Neural Sanctum, where you’ll take on Solus Heart.

Here is how you can do just that:

  • Defeat Solus Wing and grab the Encrypted Cerebellum, and enter the Solus Wing’s eye to teleport to the Computational Exchange.
  • Here, locate Chef, who is behind a translucent, glitchy wall.
  • He can combine items like the Encrypted Cerebellum to craft new ones. What you really need is the Exposed Cerebellum to offer to the large Solus unit in this area.
  • To get that, you need to combine the Encrypted Cerebellum with either of the following items:
    • Sentry Key
    • Prison Matrix
    • Orphaned Core
    • Empathy Cores
    • Rusted Key
    • Encrusted key
  • This will give you the Exposed Cerebellum.
  • Once you have the Exposed Cerebellum, offer it to the large Solus unit in the Computational Exchange.
  • This will summon the Encrypted Teleporter, which will take you to the Neural Sanctum, another Hidden Realm. (Basically a hidden realm within a hidden realm).

This is where you’ll take on the Solus Heart, the true final boss of Risk of Rain 2: Alloyed Collective, which is pretty difficult, trippy, and fun to fight, with an incredible arena. It somehow tops the Solus Wing fight right before it, and that’s saying a lot.

So, the Encrypted Cerebellum is an essential item if you want to continue exploring all the content the expansion has to offer.
