To defeat Scarlet Witch in the Marvel Zombies mode, you essentially need to drain her health bar as quickly as possible before she manages to use her Reality Erasure ultimate on your team. Dealing as much damage as you can as swiftly as possible is the key to taking her out, as you’re working against the timer ticking down to her casting Reality Erasure.

How to Stop Wanda’s Reality Erasure Ultimate in Marvel Zombies in Marvel Rivals

You can stop Scarlet Witch from using her deadly Reality Erasure ultimate by breaking the red crystals that appear around her. Her ultimate cannot be stopped permanently, but you can delay it if you destroy the crystals. The only way to truly stop it is by eliminating her in the boss battle, which tends to happen naturally if you focus on destroying the crystals.

There are really only two outcomes once you reach this phase of the fight. Either you destroy all the crystals, stop Scarlet Witch’s ultimate, and defeat her in battle, or she casts Reality Erasure and eliminates you, thus resulting in a defeat for the full round.

You’ll want to keep an eye on how close she is to performing her ultimate move, as you’ll perish instantly if she manages to cast it. Her progress towards this spell is tracked with a yellow bar underneath her health, right above the words “Reality Erasure.” If you don’t see this bar, she’s not prepping it, so you don’t have to worry about it.

All Wanda Scarlet Witch Boss Abilities in Marvel Rivals

Understanding what Scarlet Witch is capable of will help you know what to expect throughout the fight. Scarlet Witch’s base abilities for the entire boss battle are as follows.

  • Fires piercing chaos waves at nearby enemies.
  • Draws in all nearby opponents.
  • Targets one hero at a time with a sustained tracking barrage.
  • Fires off homing projectiles at all players, making controlled zones upon landing.
  • Activates a void state that allows her to move around freely.

Her skillset switches up a bit once you get her to half health, making her more powerful as her demise draws closer. Upon reaching half her total health, the new abilities Scarlet Witch unlocks are as follows.

  • Teleports randomly.
  • Occasionally releases shockwaves.
  • Spawns control zones directly under heroes.
  • Gains a powerful shield.

Although she’s a lot more powerful with this fresh set of abilities, she’s also got a major weakness since she’s down half her health. You can break her shield to stun her and clear control zones at this point.

Her skillset switches up once again when she reaches critical health, making her even more formidable on the battlefield. Scarlet Witch’s abilities when her health is at its lowest are as follows.

  • Teleports to the center of the map to charge up her Reality Erasure ultimate ability.
  • Red crystals spawn around her, tied to her ultimate.

The Queen of the Dead’s ultimate ability is game-ending, as you and your team will perish instantly if she manages to cast it. Luckily, you can break the red crystals around her to delay her cast, giving you and your allies more time to take her down. You can’t stop it permanently, but you can put it off. The only way to beat her here is by killing her, so you must fire at her with everything you’ve got.

Tips and Tricks for Beating Scarlet Witch in Marvel Zombies in Marvel Rivals

If you’re struggling to get past the boss fight against Scarlet Witch at the end of a Marvel Zombies match, here are some key tips and tricks to keep in mind.

  • Keep your distance. Don’t let her pull you in and keep you close to her, as she can quickly drain your health before you can do anything if you get stuck near her. It’s also much easier to dodge her attacks when you keep some distance, as you can usually see what’s coming from afar and have more room to evade.
  • Don’t stand in the control zones. They freeze you in place, making you an easy target for The Queen of the Dead.
  • Always prioritize breaking the red crystals. When they appear, there’s nothing more important than destroying them, so be sure to fully focus on getting rid of them, or you’ll likely end up losing.
  • Try different characters. If you just can’t get enough damage in time to kill her, try using a different character next time. All the heroes featured in this mode play very differently from how they usually do, so it can take a bit to get used to and figure out who you’re most effective with. You also might consider choosing the best characters to use in Marvel Zombies.

If you’re looking for something to do after beating this boss battle, you might enjoy checking off some achievements. Some of the trickier ones to get done are The DefendersPrank of Monkey King, and Blueprints Supreme.
