If you’re looking for local progress files, for whatever reason, here is the save file location for Ninja Gaiden 4 for the PC version.

Ninja Gaiden 4 Save File Location

Client
SteamC:\Users\[Windows Username]\AppData\Local\NINJAGAIDEN4

You can find all the relevant save data in the NINJAGAIDEN4 folder with your default save file marked with SlotData_0.dat. For future use, I recommend backing up the entire NINJAGAIDEN4 folder just in case.

You can access the same location using the following shortcut address by inputting it into Windows Run or Explorer:

%USERPROFILE%/AppData/Local/NINJAGAIDEN4

The game has both autosave and manual saving.

Ninja Gaiden 4 Steam Features

On PC, Ninja Gaiden 4 has support for Steam Cloud, which means you can pick up your progress across different devices without a hitch. Outside of that, it comes with support for the following Steam-specific features as well:

  • Steam Family Sharing: If you own a copy of Ninja Gaiden 4, members of your Steam family can access it in their libraries.
  • Steam Input: While the game has native support for multiple controllers, you can always use Steam Input to get third-party controllers to work without much trouble.
  • Steam Trading Cards: Playing the game will unlock trading cards in Steam, which you can gather to unlock badges or sell on the Steam Marketplace.
