The Rock Teams Up with Xbox To Make Wishes Come True

The retired wrestler turned actor teamed up with Microsoft to bring custom Xbox One X’s to several kids in the Make-A-Wish program.

Back in 2001, Bill Gates and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson took to the stage to announce Microsoft’s first gaming console, the Xbox. Now, after sixteen years, the two parties have teamed up once more to help make the dreams of kids in the Make-A-Wish program a reality.

Yesterday, The Rock and Microsoft delivered several custom Xbox One X consoles to kids in the Make-A-Wish program. Not only do the kids receive the console a full week before it’s official release on November 7, but the console also comes with The Rock’s logo, as well as a brahma bull, and a personal holiday message—ensuring that they’ll remember this day for the rest of their lives. Johnson then spent the day playing different games like Super Lucky’s Tale, Forza Motorsport 7, and Killer Instinct with the kids, as well as other games that are featured on Xbox Game Pass.
