This feature will tell you how to get the Dragon Strike while playing on Gorod Krovi, the new zombies map in the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Descent DLC. Once you have this sweet item, you’ll be able to summon a dragon to fry your undead enemies!
Turn on the Pack-a-Punch in Gorod Krovi
The first thing you need to do in order to obtain the Dragon Strike in Gorod Krovi is to turn on the Pack-a-Punch. This requires several steps.
First, head to the Dragon Command Center and flick on the power switch. Then keep on a lookout for zombies. Kill the zombies and collect a few Code Cylinders, which you’ll then deposit.
You’ll have to pick up three Code Cylinders in Gorod Krovi – the Dragon Command, Tank Factory and Supply Depot. Once you get the cylinders, head to their respective locations (they’re named) and drop them off.
Look for a green beam of light at this point, as this marks where pods open up. You’ll need to kill a few zombies to charge them up before you can open them. As they open, you’ll get pieces of the Dragon Network, which you can put into the Operations Bunker in exchange for more zombies to kill – and another Code Cylinder to get in this Zombies map.
Do this a couple more times and you’ll have all the Dragon Network parts, once again named after the spots where you’ll need to drop them off.
After that, you’ll see a computer with a dragon on it, which will let you summon the Dragon in Gorod Krovi. Set it off, and wait a little bit. It’ll eventually arrive as you wipe out some zombies. When it’s ready to give you a lift, hop on board to get to the Pack-a-Punch.
Finally, you’ll get to a downstairs spot of the building where the dragon drops you off. Go in and purchase whatever upgrades you need, and you should be able to flick on the Pack-a-Punch. On to the next step!
Activate the Crystal and Kill Zombies in Gorod Krovi
This next step in getting your hands on the Dragon Strike in Gorod Krovi will ask you to locate a crystal inside the same spot as the Pack-a-Punch. Make sure you have a Punch-enabled weapon on hand before you activate it, as you’ll need to face off a few enemies. When you’re ready, switch it on.
The bunker will now be locked down, and you’ll have to deal with a few waves of zombies, each one tougher than the last. As you clear out all four of these waves, the MG-42 is your best bet since it has a lot of power. Just make sure you watch out for zombies coming from different paths – they’ll split up following the first wave from the basement.
After dealing with the four mech zombies in the final wave, you’ll be on to the final step.
Collect the Crystal and Pick up the Dragon Strike in Gorod Krovi
Continue working towards the Dragon Strike in Gorod Krovi by going back to where you activated the crystal and pick it up. Although it won’t be in your possession, you’ll have access to it – and therefore, it’ll open up the Dragon Strike, which can be turned on by pressing right on your d-pad.
The weapon is best used outdoors, as you’ll be calling in a wave of fire to come down on enemies. Once you see a spot where you want to set it off and roast a few zombies, hit right on the D-pad. It’ll light up, and you’ll see the trajectory where the dragon will let loose with its breath. So not only does the weapon look great, it packs a tremendous punch as well. Just use it when you need it – no one really likes wasting the talents of a dragon.
Along with theDragon Shield that you can put together in Gorod Krovi, the Dragon Strike is a bad-ass weapon that you shouldn’t be without when it comes to wiping out Zombies. Good luck, and have fun with it!
