Like Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2, this collection also comes with multiplayer support with several modes for players to shred together. The collection is coming to multiple platforms, but does Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 have crossplay support? Here is everything you need to know.

Does Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 Have Crossplay?

Yes, the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 collection has crossplay support for multiplayer. This was confirmed in the official FAQ, and up to eight players can face off in various modes, including Competitive and the new HAWK mode.

While the FAQ doesn’t list the specific platforms, we expect all platforms and PC clients to be part of this feature. Cross-platform play is even mentioned on the eShop page so the Nintendo Switch isn’t excluded.

Does Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 Require an Internet Connection?

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 requires a constant internet connection on the PC version, while players who purchase the collection on consoles can play in offline mode once they’ve downloaded the game.

We’re unsure why PC players are stuck with this requirement, especially if they don’t want to engage with the multiplayer aspect. It was the same case for the first collection as well, which didn’t make sense back then either.

On the other hand, console users will require their manufacturer’s relevant online subscription service if they want to access the multiplayer modes.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 Release Date

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 is coming to PC (via Steam, Battle.net, and Microsoft Store), Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X, PS4, PS5, and the Nintendo Switch on July 11, 2025. It’s also coming day one to Xbox Game Pass on PC and consoles.
