Stalker 2: Sunrise Suit Location Guide

Here is how to get the Sunrise Suit in Stalker 2 using two straightforward methods

Equipping the best armor sets is one of the easiest ways to survive encounters with mutants and human enemies alike in Stalker 2. However, the better the protection an armor provides, the heavier it tends to be, making inventory management a critical factor to consider. That said, armor like the Sunrise Suit strikes an ideal balance, offering reliable protection for both exploration and combat scenarios.

In this guide, I’ll reveal two different methods to obtain the Sunrise Suit in Stalker 2.

The Sunrise Suit can be found at the Repair Quay POI in Stalker 2. This location is on the far eastern edge of the map. Inside the building, you will need to do some platforming to reach a pipe on the ceiling where the Sunrise Suit is located.

To get started, head to the southeastern side of the Repair Quay building. You will spot a large entrance door, a dilapidated bus, some containers, and two circular concrete blocks stacked on top of each other.

Begin by jumping onto the crates, then climb onto the concrete blocks. From here, you can reach a container that is at the same height as the concrete blocks. Look for a ladder nearby—it leads to the roof. Climb the ladder, and you will arrive at an area with broken glass windows in front of you.

A set of pipes runs parallel to the broken windows. Carefully move through the windows to land on the pipes without falling to the ground. Head north along the pipes until you find a stash bag on a small platform.

While the stash bag only contains a few consumables, it is worth grabbing. But that’s not all that’s here.

Below the platform, you will see the Sunrise Suit armor lying on the pipes, ready for you to collect in Stalker 2.

Alternate Method to Get Sunrise Suit in Stalker 2

Fish farm location

While heading to the SIRCAA facility during the Extreme Simplicity main mission, you may come across the Fish Farm POI where gunfire erupts between two rival factions.

If you choose to get involved, there is an alternate way to obtain the Sunrise Suit in Stalker 2. After defeating the Sultan’s men who are attacking a group of stalkers, you will receive a side mission called “The Key to Freedom.”

The Key to The Freedom Side Mission

At the fish farm, Zhenya Hulk and two other NPCs are held captive in the Administrative building. After clearing out all the enemies, loot the body of a scar-faced enemy named Adik Pedal. Reading his PDA will reveal that he hid the key to the captives’ room on the roof of the building at the fish farm.

To retrieve Adik Pedal’s key and rescue the captives, face the building with the electric anomalies inside. Look to your left, and you will find a ladder leading up to the roof.

Climb the ladder and make your way to the opposite end of the roof. Use the throwing bolt trick to trigger the electric anomalies, ensuring a safe path across. Skipping this step will result in significant electric damage and a major loss of health.

Once across, interact with the bag to retrieve Adik Pedal’s key. You will also find the Coupled AKM-74 magazine attachment, so do not forget to grab it before leaving the roof.

Head back to the Administrative building to free Zhenya Hulk. Interact with him, ask about the situation, and then select the dialogue option “How about a reward?” Doing this will net you 2,834 Coupons, and the Key to Freedom side mission will be marked as complete.

Now that you have claimed your reward and completed the mission, you can eliminate the three NPCs—ideally with headshots—and loot their bodies. This will allow you to obtain the Sunrise Suit at the fish farm POI in Stalker 2.

Is Sunrise Suit a Good Armor in Stalker 2

The standout feature of the Sunrise Suit is its excellent physical protection. This armor allows you to withstand more damage, giving you the chance to keep fighting against mutants or bandits in Stalker 2 without immediately resorting to healing consumables.

In addition to physical defense, the Sunrise Suit provides decent radiation protection. Considering its lightweight design at just four kilograms, the combination of physical and radiation protection makes it a solid choice for many situations.

However, the suit falls short when facing fire or electric Poltergeists, offering little to no protection against these threats. It is also lacking in chemical resistance, so be cautious when exploring areas with toxic green waste on the ground.

That’s about everything you need to know on finding the Sunrise Suit armor in Stalker 2. For more tips about the game, I highly recommend you check out our Best Mods for Stalker 2 on PC, Kill Shah or Roosevelt in King of the Hill Mission, and No Honor Among Thieves Walkthrough guides.
