Stalker 2: No Honor Among Thieves Walkthrough Guide

Stalker 2 offers numerous side missions that allow you to shape their outcomes based on your choices. These decisions might involve killing an NPC or letting them strike a deal with you in exchange for a valuable reward. No Honor Among Thieves is one such side quest and how you handle the situations in it is entirely up to you, but we recommend approaching these moments with a level head.

In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to start and complete the No Honor Among Thieves side quest in Stalker 2. By following this guide, you can secure the optional rare weapon rewarded at the end of the mission.

How to Get No Honor Among Thieves Side Quest in Stalker 2

You trigger the No Honor Among Thieves side quest by talking with the Huron NPC located in the Slag Heap region in Stalker 2.

As you play the story, you will progress from the early game’s region to the second one called Garbage Pile. The safe zone in this region is called Slag Heap and you will find Huron, who also is a vendor and the best one to get good prices on selling weapons, ammo, and consumables.

As you continue talking with Huron for the first time and inquire about the region, you will get the ‘About the missing shipment’ option. Select that option and Huron will tell Skif about a missing courier that Brood Bandits were to deliver to him.

When the conversation between Huron and Skif ends, you get the No Honor Among Thieves side quest in Stalker 2.

How to Get Inside Brood Bandit Cabin in Stalker 2

The next step in progressing the No Honor Among Thieves side quest involves reaching the cabin where the Brood Bandits were resting. The in-game marker will take you to a cabin that had its roof smashed by an excavator’s arm. You will also find two containers near this excavator.

You will find the main door to enter this cabin is locked and the windows are inaccessible, making it hard to get inside the cabin. However, a quick look from the windows of the cabin will allow you to see that all Brood Bandits inside the house are dead already.

When you try to circle the cabin in hopes of getting inside, you will notice that the two red containers have a lot of breakable wooden boxes. Grab your knife and start smashing the boxes. This will lead you to climb over the second container by making your way through it from the inside.

Then, you need to run and jump from a container to the excavator. Carefully jump over the excavator’s arm and try to land on the cabin’s roof. This is your ticket inside.

Searching Bodies for Clues to Stash’s Location

After that, make your way inside the cabin and this is when the mission objective would change to search the Brood Bandits bodies.

As you search all the bodies, you will find Edik the Dome’s PDA which reveals that the Brood Bandits were ambushed in this cabin and Huron’s stash is now in the custody of another bandit group.

The next objective is to reach the Plant Boiler Station, located southwest of the cabin.

Reaching the Plant Boiler Station to Get Huron’s Missing Shipment

As you follow the in-game marker, you will eventually reach the Plant Boiler Station. The bandits occupying this POI will start shooting you on sight. There will be a sniper on the roof and a handful of bandits on the ground.

The objective here is to reach inside the building that contains the Huron’s missing shipment. However, all the doors are locked tight with bandits positioned around the building.

To go inside the Plant Boiler Station and progress the No Honor Among Thieves side quest in Stalker 2, continue walking along the left side of the Plant Station Boiler. You will find a tower at the back side of the building and two ladders: one goes to the top of the tower, and another to the roof.

Take the ladder that goes to the roof of the Plant Boiler Station building and you will find a sniper positioned at the opposite end. Gun down this bandit and you will find a platform near him that gives you access to the first floor.

Drop down and enter the building’s first floor. You will immediately be fired upon by at least three bandits inside. Continue eliminating them all and make your way to the ground floor.

At the opposite end of this floor, you will find the room containing Huron’s stash — but the door will be locked.

To go inside the stash room, go back to the first floor from where you entered the building, look to the left of the door and you will find an opening. Jump down to access the stash room.

Should You Kill or Spare Docent in Stalker 2

Docent, a bandit in the stash room, will immediately start talking with Skif as he enters the stash room. He will tell you to take the package as he is not interested in it anyway.

You will get two options after Docent tries to strike a deal with you:

• ‘Go on’
• ‘No way’.

The second option will let you kill Docent and the first one will allow you to hear what Docent has to offer. It is best to not kill him right away.

He explains the situation, that Dome and a few of his guys were to get the courier from bandits with the pretense that they were Shah’s men. However, Shah’s men showed up there for real and the whole situation went sideways. The Brood Bandits got killed and Docent and his men are now holed up in the Plant Boiler Station.

Docent then tells you that he knows the location of Shah’s special gun from the mainland. He tries to cut a deal with you by sparing his life in exchange for information on the Shah’s stash location.

• If you select the ‘Okay’ option, Skif will take the deal and get to keep Shah’s stash location and Huron’s missing shipment in Stalker 2.

We recommend you do not kill Docent during No Honor Among Thieves in Stalker 2 as it is the best outcome.

Delivering Missing Shipment to Huron

After going through all the mess of fighting the rival bandit group and retrieving the missing shipment, it is time you deliver it back to Huron.

You will get a 2,159 Coupon reward after delivering the stash to Huron during the No Honor Among Thieves side quest in Stalker 2.

Finding Shah’s Stash Containing Shah’s Mate SMG in Stalker 2

After completing the No Honor Among Thieves side quest, your next objective should be obtaining the loot from Shah’s stash. This stash is located northwest of Slag Heap. To pinpoint it on the map, hover your cursor over the stash icon, which will display the label “The Shah’s Stash.”

The stash is found in a dark archway beneath a train track. Inside, you’ll discover a satchel on the ground to your left.

Open it to claim Shah’s Mate, a highly customized SMG featuring an extended magazine and a faster rate of fire compared to most SMGs in Stalker 2.

However, as soon as you pick up Shah’s Mate, a Bloodsucker mutant will ambush you. These creatures are known for their ability to turn invisible, stalking their prey before launching an attack.

To handle this fight, we strongly recommend bringing a shotgun. Its devastating close-range damage makes it ideal against the Bloodsucker, whose attacks are entirely melee-based.

Alternatively, you can avoid wasting ammunition by retreating to the nearest safe zone. Bloodsuckers don’t drop any rewards, unlike the ammo, consumables, or weapons you might obtain from humanoid enemies, so conserving resources might be the smarter choice.
