In Dragon Age: The Veilguard, some of the greatest treasures are hidden behind puzzles. To unlock these rewards, you’ll need to find clues, make connections, and solve each puzzle. The Lighthouse Statue puzzle is an early game puzzle, offering rewards that, while modest later on, are quite valuable in the early game. This guide explains where to find the Lighthouse Statue puzzle and how to solve it in Dragon Age: The Veilguard.
Where is Lighthouse Statue Puzzle in Dragon Age: The Veilguard
You can find the Lighthouse statue puzzle right after completing the prologue in the Lighthouse, the main hub in the game. To begin the statue puzzle, you will first need to find a statue with a sticky note on its base.
This is found in the northern part, level 2 of the Lighthouse, and it appears as a “C” symbol when you view it on the map. To reach this note containing a clue to solving the puzzle, exit the Library section and approach the Courtyard.
Go around a blocked door by the vines, and you will find the statue with a note on its base that says, “To enter the Library Passage, three pairings must meet face-to-face.”
The “three pairings” indicate three sets of Solas and Mythal statues must face each other, so a total of six statues.

First Lighthouse Statue Pair
The first set of statues is right where you find the sticky note. A lever is attached to each statue so the Rook can interact and rotate them. Rotate the first statue to the east and run around to the second one seen from a distance.
Turn the second statue to face west so the first pair of lighthouse statues face each other. When aligned correctly, a green orb will appear from each statue, signaling that you have completed this step. These orbs are simply hints to indicate success—there is no need to follow them. Instead, proceed to the next statue pair.
Second Lighthouse Statue Pair
To reach the second Lighthouse statue pair, you will need to relocate to the southern side of the map this time, near the Dining Hall. Once again, the two statues are placed in a manner that allows them to be positioned face-to-face with each other. However, you will first need to find them.
Instead of going inside the Dining hall, look to the left. You should see staircases, left and right, to the Library’s main entrance. The left stairs will lead you directly to the statue. Turn this statue so that it faces east.
The next statue is on the far east side. You should be able to see it from a distance just by looking at the far east side. Reach that statue and turn it to the west so that both statues are face-to-face.
Once again, you will see another green orb appearing after you have completed the second Lighthouse Statue pair puzzle in Dragon Age: The Veilguard.
Third Lighthouse Statue Pair
The third Lighthouse statue pair is not far from the second statue set. To reach here, take the staircases and go up. After that, come to the center of this floor, and you will find two statues near a chest.
This time, all you need to do is rotate the statues so they face each other. They are right next to each other, so this should not take long.
Once the third Lighthouse statue puzzle is solved, the Rook will comment that something has happened. All you need to do now is collect the rewards found inside the Library.
Rewards for Completing the Lighthouse Statue Puzzle in Dragon Age: The Veilguard
Once inside the Library, look for a circular door with three lights around it located opposite the Library table. Initially, these lights are off, but solving the statue puzzle will activate them. The door will then open, which was previously locked.
While the rewards here are not epic compared to what you will find later, they make for a solid treasure in the early game.
You can collect the following rewards by exploring the secret room:
- Memories of a Duet Codex entry found in the middle of the room on the piano.
- 20 Flawless Crystal
- 400 to 600 Gold
