How to Fix a Stuck Character in Throne and Liberty

Get unstuck with this simple trick!

Throne and Liberty is a fairly polished and technically impressive MMORPG outside of its technical issues at launch. The developers have done a great job of integrating tons of quality-of-life features into the menus and commands, allowing players to have a smooth experience when they’re out exploring the lands of Solsium. In true MMO fashion, there’s a chance your character will get stuck in the terrain, objects, or any other part of the world, and here is how you can free them in Throne and Liberty.

Fixing a Stuck Character in Throne and Liberty

If your character gets stuck in Throne and Liberty, you can either use a chat command to move them to a safe location or hit the escape option in the pause menu.

Option 1: Use the Escape Chat Command

In the chat box, you can type the following to free your character from their predicament and teleport them to a safe location:

/escape
  • After entering the command, press Enter
  • You will see a prompt after this, which will confirm that the game is moving you to a safe location.
  • This can be canceled, but if you’re stuck, we recommend waiting 30 seconds

Option 2: Use the Escape Option in the Pause Menu

You can also hit the Escape key, and click the Escape button under Settings at the bottom.

This does the same thing, and you’ll be transported to a safe location in 30 seconds. Both of these are viable options, so come down to what you’re more comfortable with. Currently, there isn’t a keyboard shortcut for this, but considering other actions have those, it’s possible that the developers will add it down the line.

We’re glad that this feature is available from the start, as many other MMORPGs still lack it and require players to quit the game outright to free their characters. It’s not all perfect, though, and if you’re running into any controller issues while playing Throne and Liberty, here is how you can fix those.
