God of War Ragnarok has finally made its way to PC as part of Sony’s commitment to the platform. The PC version is another great port with excellent scalability but some minor technical issues. It also supports most of Steam’s features like cloud saves, controller support, and family sharing. However, if you want to access your local progress for any reason, here is the God of War Ragnarok save file location on PC.
God of War Ragnarok Save File Location
The save files for God of War Ragnarok are available in the following location on PC.
C:\Users\[YOUR USERNAME]\Saved Games\God of War Ragnarök\[STEAM ID]
We recommend backing up the entire God of War Ragnarök folder, which includes the save files, as well as configuration data.
Faster Navigation
To quickly navigate to the same location, you can use Windows Run. You can bring up Run by pressing the Windows and R keys together.
Enter the following address, which will take you directly to your save files.
%USERPROFILE%/Saved Games/God of War Ragnarök/
Does God of War Ragnarok have Steam Cloud Support?
Yes, God of War Ragnarok has full Steam Cloud support, and you can pick up your progress on different devices as soon as the data is synced.
You can also play the game on the Steam Deck even though it doesn’t have a verification just yet, but all the integrated Steam features will work as expected, so you can make use of Steam Cloud as well. God of War Ragnarok is not a demanding title and scales quite well to lower-end hardware, including the Steam Deck.
Like multiple new PlayStation titles coming to PC though, God of War Ragnarok also has a PSN account requirement which means it isn’t available in tons of regions on Steam.
