Microsoft May Lower Digital Game Prices

Microsoft's Major Nelson chimes in on the price of digital Xbox One titles.

Microsoft’s Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb made a statement yesterday via Reddit, addressing concerns about the Xbox One. One topic that came up was the price of Xbox One digital titles, in which Major Nelson had the following to say.

“We are way aware of this and many of the concerns of the community – we have some great stuff planned for Xbox One this year (and beyond.) As soon as we can share some of the goodness… we will.”

When questioned further about competitive pricing for digital downloads, Hryb added, “It is indeed on the agenda.”

Microsoft representatives have been stating for some time that updates will be coming for the Xbox One this year. It seems as though we can expect price drops on digital titles in addition to dashboard user interface changes and improvements.
