SNK vs. Capcom: SVC CHAOS was shadow-dropped by SNK during EVO 2024, and it’s the only fighting game where you can actually fight Mars People. This re-release features rollback netcode, online lobbies, hitbox viewer, and a massive gallery mode. Though, does SNK vs. Capcom: SVC CHAOS have crossplay support between platforms? Here is everything you need to know.

Does SNK vs. Capcom: SVC CHAOS Have Crossplay Support?

No, unfortunately, SNK vs. Capcom: SVC CHAOS does not have crossplay support.

SNK vs. Capcom: SVC CHAOS is available on PC via Steam and GOG, PS4, and the Nintendo Switch, however, none of the platforms can play online together. This is a shame because crossplay is available in tons of modern fighting game releases like Street Fighter 6, Mortal Kombat 1, and Tekken 8, and often in re-released collections, or remasters as well.

We hope that this feature is in the cards for a future update because crossplay can greatly improve the longevity of a fighting game, and make it easier to find online matches.

SNK is finally getting around to crossplay, and their upcoming title Fatal Fury: City Of The Wolves will actually have crossplay support from day one. Before that, it took them over a year to add crossplay support to The King of Fighters XV.

We hope that SNK vs. Capcom: SVC CHAOS gets crossplay support down the line because, despite the mixed reception of the game at its original release, it’s still a fairly memorable title with a massive roster of over 36 characters. The rerelease already has a Very Positive rating on Steam, which means that despite a lack of crossplay support, people are just happy to experience this neat little crossover title.
