Does Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap Have Crossplay Support?

Yes, Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap has crossplay support between PC and Xbox Series S|X.

This was confirmed on the store pages for the upcoming release. Steam, Epic Games Store, and the Microsoft Store have the cross-platform tag.

Similar to the last entry, players can make use of crossplay to take on orcs together whether they’re on PC, or Xbox Series S|X. The new game also increases the co-op party’s size to four players from two players.

The developers have also confirmed that matchmaking will be available, so you can look for players while creating your party. Players who don’t want to engage with the co-op aspect can enjoy the experience alone as well.

Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap Confirmed Platforms

The game is coming to PC, and Xbox Series S|X. No other platforms have been announced at the moment.

Their latest major release, Orcs Must Die 3 was originally a Stadia exclusive that eventually made its way to PC, Xbox, and PlayStation consoles. However, this entry is not coming to PS5, at least not at launch. Orcs Must Die 3 is also available on Xbox Game Pass, which could indicate that the upcoming release is also coming to the service, and why it’s skipping PlayStation for now.

Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap is releasing sometime early in 2025, and we’re excited to learn more about the upcoming title.
