After selling like hotcakes on PC, Larry “Major Nelson” Hyrb announced today that the Xbox 360 edition of the game, available as a download and physical release, has sold over ten million copies.

To celebrate, the company has launched a one day sale featuring a variety of skin and texture packs up to 50 percent off on Xbox Live. That sale ends later today, so hurry! You can find a full list of the on-sale content here.

Congrats to Mojang and Microsoft on such a big success. You can bet it’ll continue in 2014 with new console releases on PS3 and other platforms.
