As expected, Ubisoft debuted a new trailer for South Park: The Stick of Truth at the Spike VGX Awards yesterday, introducing the art of “cupping a spell.”

In the new gameplay footage, Cartman, wearing a wizard’s hat and carrying a can, shows your young rookie how to “cup a spell,” which essentially means farting in your hand and then throwing it out at your opponent. As ridiculously bad as that sound, it works rather well, using a combination of analog sticks to execute the motions and hit your target.
You can check out the footage for yourself below, but be warned — it’s definitely heavy on the farts.
