Nintendo system owners have plenty to download this week with the latest eShop update.
Leading the charge are two new Sega 3D classics for the Nintendo 3DS. Sonic the Hedgehog finally brings his original adventure to the handheld system in glorious 3D for $5.99, while the arcade favorite Altered Beast is also available, where you can…wait for it…”rise from your grave.”
Also available for the 3DS this week is the NES classic Donkey Kong 3 ($4.99), Brilliant Hamsters!, the movie-based Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2 and the DSi game Hooked On Bass Fishing.
On the Wii U, there’s only one game this week, but it’s the SNES classic The Legend of Mystical Ninja ($7.99), which Konami fans are sure to appreciate.
Finally, various Donkey Kong games are on sale this week, with 30 percent discounts on Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong Jr. and Donkey Kong 3 for Wii U, as well as the other Donkey Kong games on 3DS.
