How to Get the Solitude Set in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree DLC

Is this another Berserk reference?

Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree has tons of new weapons, as well as armor sets to satisfy the fashion needs of every player. If you like tanky, fully armored sets, there are plenty of options to choose from here. One of the earlier heavy sets you can attain is the Solitude Set, and here is how you can get it in the Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree DLC.

Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree Solitude Set Location

The Solitude Set is obtained by defeating the Blackgaol Knight in the Western Nameless Mausoleum.

This is one of the earlier locations you can visit, and it’s just left of the first site of grace. You can avoid the bird enemies if you want and head straight to the boss fight.

Blackgaol Knight puts up quite the fight, and he’s wearing the same set. He hits hard and has a crossbow to catch you off guard.

Solitude Set Weight

This is a Heavy Armor set, and as such your equip load needs to be a bit high. Here is the weight of each piece of the set. The entire set weighs 57.1, which is on the higher side.

Set PieceWeight
Helm of Solitude10.3
Armor of Solitude24.0
Gauntlets of Solitude8.0
Greaves of Solitude14.8

Overall, it’s a great tanky set that also comes with a robe. It reminds me of the Berserker Armor from Berserk apart from the Helm. In addition to the set, you’ll also get the Greatsword of Solitude, which is a fantastic weapon you can get early on that scales with both Strength and Dexterity.

Additionally, if you’re looking for more solid weapons to grab early on, we recommend checking out the Great Katana as well as the Beast Claw. For more on Shadow of the Erdtree, make sure to follow our dedicated section.
