The first requirement to getting the Long Gun in Vampire Survivors is to own the Operation Guns DLC. Players who do not have the DLC will not be able to access the new levels, characters, or guns.

Then players will have to find and open the coffin in the Neo Galuga level, which is introduced in the DLC. The coffin is in the northeastern section of the map, marked as the question mark.

Completing that will unlock Bill Rizer as a purchasable character, who comes equipped with the Long Gun. Players will then have to survive 15 minutes with Bill Rizer to unlock the Long Gun for the general weapon pool so any character can use it.

The Long Gun can evolve into the Prototype A weapon by upgrading the Long Gun to max level while owning a Weapon Power-Up passive item. The Weapon Power-Up looks like a grey briefcase and is new to the game.

The easiest method to evolve the Long Gun is to play as Bill Rizer on the Neo Galuga level. You always start with the Long Gun and there is a Weapon Power-Up just south of where players spawn on the map.

Like other evolutions, level up your character to max out the Long Gun at level eight, then defeat an elite monster at around the 10-minute mark to open up a chest with the Prototype A evolution. Players can then safely leave the match once it is obtained.
