There’s no question that when Grand Theft Auto 5 came out last week, it provided major competition for Saints Row 4  – especially when it sold $1 billion in three days’ time. Don’t worry too much about Deep Silver’s sequel, though – it’s doing just fine.

This comes from Deep Silver’s director and marketing for PR, Aubrey Jean Norris, who spoke with Gamezone on the matter.

“I can’t say what our cumulative sales are, but they have continued to be very strong.” She also stated that the recent promotion for the Johnny Gat downloadable content – labeled #GATV in social streams, also did really well for the game.

DLC is in the works, including Enter the Dominatrix, which was initially announced for Saints Row the Third a couple of years ago. There’s no word on release dates, but according to Aubrey, you can expect some “fun promotions” down the road.

Saints Row 4 is available now for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
