In the middle of each Diablo season, we typically get the Mother’s Blessing event that provides players with a substantial XP boost. This guide will cover how you can make use of the temporary boost and what you can expect from the blessing.
Diablo 4: How to Use the Mother’s Blessing XP Boost
As long as you play between March 26 and April 2, the Mother’s Blessing XP Boost is applied to all your characters. There are no items that you need to initiate the boon, which was required for the winter event. Instead, the blessing is passively applied to everyone’s account. To ensure that you don’t have any issues, you can see the symbol for the boost above the standard health bar on your characters. Look for a symbol that resembles a crude drawing of Lilith’s head. If it’s there, that means you have an active boost.
The catch to the automatic XP boost in Diablo 4 is that you only have a limited time to use it. After April 2, you won’t have the boon anymore and there are no items to store for later use. So, for those of you who are looking forward to a week of XP grinding, it’s important to jump in as soon as possible. The odds are that we won’t have another chance at the Mother’s Blessing until Season 4 or the end of Season 3.
Once you jump into Diablo 4 while the event is live, you can expect a 35% XP boost. This is applied as a multiplicative rate and will stack with any of your other XP boosts. Along with some experience increases, there are gold increases and even Battle Pass XP boosts while the Mother’s Blessing is active in Sanctuary. Take advantage of it while you can.
After you’ve had your fill, jump back into the Gauntlet for some more rewards.
