That said, the roster hasn’t been finalized yet. Although we know about popular favorites like Iron Man and the Incredible Hulk, there are still plenty of new faces joining Lego Marvel Super Heroes. During the Marvel Video Games panel at Comic-Con, WB Games revealed who’s joining the party.

In case you missed the panel – and the awesomeness that occurred when Stan Lee took the stage – we’ve got a recap of who you’ll play as in the upcoming brawl fest.

Stan Lee: We might as well get the obvious one out of the way first. Yes, the Marvel Comics mastermind is a playable character in the game, and will be able to manipulate various powers however he sees fit. This includes utilizing Iron Man’s laser capabilities or transforming into Hulk and throwing cars around.

Nick Fury: The leader of S.H.I.E.L.D. can certainly hold his own in combat, whether he’s striking enemies up close or shooting them from afar with his pistol. Yes, he even has his traditional eye patch, so you can tell he’s still got that “Fury-ous” touch.

Agent Coulson: This loyal agent, thought to have been killed in the Avengers movie but making his return this Fall in the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. TV series, has the same amount of offense as Fury. However, there’s one outstanding factor – Clark Gregg, who plays Coulson in the Marvel films and S.H.I.E.L.D. show, will provide his voice.  Instant pick.

Green Goblin: Care to drop a few pumpkin bombs someone’s way? The Green Goblin is capable of taking care of enemies up close with punches, hovering around on his glider and most importantly, chucking bombs at foes from a distance.

The Vulture: This fan favorite finally becomes a playable character in Lego Marvel Super Heroes, able to fly to great heights and still become a force when it comes to ground combat.

The Punisher: Frank Castle, one of the grittiest Marvel heroes out there, will get the opportunity to become a Lego hero. With plenty of ammunition in his guns, as well as the ability to knock someone into next week with his fists, he’s a solid choice for any assault team. Pair him with Deadpool and watch the bodies fly.

Elektra: This femme fatale is here as a cool pre-order bonus for Lego Marvel Super Heroes, but she’s likely to be available via downloadable content as well down the road. With her pair of sais and suave fighting techniques, she can hold her own just as well as Wolverine.

Gambit: Deal the cards!  This kinetic X-Men character is able to throw playing cards from a distance, charging them with energy and blasting targets to bits. He’s also quite deadly with his staff, turning enemies into piles of bricks in no time flat.

Storm: Who says nature is calm? With Storm that’s hardly the case, as she can summon worldly elements, like hurricanes and other natural disasters at will. That should make her useful when it comes to clearing out an arena of bad guys.

Beast: Although this X-Men character is an intellectual type, that doesn’t mean he refuses to fight. Capable of using his large size and agility to attack enemies with exceptional speed, he’s a solid character to have in a pinch.

The Blob: “Nothing moves the Blob!” This classic villain gets a second chance at life in Lego-land, using his massive size to smash obstacles and enemies in milliseconds. He’s a bit slower than the others, but just right when it comes to skirmishes with bosses.

Jean Grey: This masterful psychic, getting warmed up for her transformation as Phoenix, can really put a hurt on folks in Lego Marvel Super Heroes. She can use her telepathic abilities to throw things around up close and far away.

Juggernaut: Who wouldn’t use this guy? He’s the Juggernaut. This mega-sized villain can crush pretty much anyone in his path, thanks to his suit of armor and colossal-sized arms. He and Hulk could easily do damage if they worked together.

Sabretooth: Why should Wolverine be the only animal to have all the fun? His brother Sabretooth pleads his case with a good amount of speed, along with close-range attacks that will leave enemies laying.

Silver Samurai: Set to be featured in this week’s The Wolverine film, Silver Samurai provides massive offense to whoever’s playing him, thanks to his powerful throwing stars and razor sharp blade. Gotta dig that armor, too.

Doctor Doom: One of the most vile villains in Marvel history, Doctor Doom actually looks rather cute in Lego form. Don’t let that fool you, though, because he can easily trash enemies without blinking, thanks to his powerful armor and strength.

Kingpin: Spider-Man and The Punisher have tangled with this enormous monster before, and though he’s dressed in a business suit, the Kingpin has no problem getting down and dirty with powerful physical attacks.

Rhino: This animal-like villain is a force to be reckoned with, as his charge maneuvers can easily wipe out a group of baddies in seconds. He can also do quite a bit of damage with punches.

There are many more characters to come before the game releases. We’ve only seen the beginning, true believer.
