4J Studios, the developer behind the XBL version, announced that the game has now sold over seven million units, receiving a significant boost with the release of a retail version earlier this month.  This helped it clear its previous sales record of six million units in March.

In addition, 4J confirmed that development on the Xbox One version of the game is in full swing, and it’s expected to arrive later this year with larger maps and more multiplayer options.
